Oshkosh Lug Hooks are made for the exclusive purpose of hand carrying poles. The handles are made of sturdy hard maple. Hooks are forged out of high-carbon steel and attached to the handle with a swivel of malleable iron, which makes for easier operation of the tool. The shape of the chisel point hooks and handle provide balanced weight distribution and assures positive gripping.
