Light, Heavy and Extra-heavy Tamp Bars

Wood Handled Light, Heavy and Extra Heavy Tamp Bars - Handles for the Light, Heavy and Extra Heavy Tamp Bars  are identical with only the thickness of the steel boot changing. Tampers are used to flatten and smooth dirt, stone, asphalt and other material.

 

 

spacer.gif (67 bytes)Steel Tamp BarSteel Tamp Bars are made entirely of Steel. The handles are made of 1" diameter steel pipe with heads made of malleable iron. The heads are shrunk onto the handle so that they resist loosening. Although made entirely of metal, the construction gives it balance and weight for efficient use.

 

 

Curve-head Tamp BarCurved Head Tamp Bars are designed and built for an excellent tamp job around posts. This is the only Tamp Bar which can tamp in those hard to get places. Because of the curved head it is possible to get closer to the wall of the hole and closer to the pole itself. Its design helps prevent "knuckle-busting" on the pole.
